Rigida DP22 rims...what is the production year?

Does anyone know the production year for this Rigida DP22 rims?

Hi,
upfront, maybe it's just me, but I do not get an image in your post displayed.

I also don't have an exact date, but to me DP22 haven't been shown till mid to late 90ties.

Rigida had DP18 for RR already early nineties (~92-93), while the first bikes I do recall factory-equipped with DP22 had been in the Centurion line up for 1997 like the Backfire Areo and the Pro (the latter in combination with Formula Disc brakes and hubs):

Thaks for this infos becsuse help me a lot. I'm buildig 93/94 bike so if they are from 95 up I'll try woth something else.

But XT M737 hubs start in 94 and was produced to 98. Only if we find that rims on some catalog bike from 94 we can be sure. I'm afraid that they are late...

I do like DP22, despite of the bit to heavy weight (and do love FIR Polar or Gipieme Tecno M416).

I have a polished wheelset with Hügi Hubs, and had an earlier one with black or rather brown-ish DP22.

The brown one came with black LX 563 (front) and 565 (rear) Hubs.

Just pulling those out to provide another index for dating, from what I do know, the LX565 was just available 1995-6.

I’ve got a set of dp22s that I’m just about to build for my son’s new project. Just waiting on spokes arriving. Sorry I can’t help with a date?

My pair is silver rims built on dame LX hubs so we can conclude that the rims are made not before 95/96.
