Have a mate who is looking for a rigid front fork, and I Quote

"needing inch and an eighth ahead and would be willing to pay up to about 15 quid...maybe a wee bit more for something half decent"

Anyone have anything that fits the bill?

Cheers

Gary :D

I've got a set here, early 90's, were on my Zaskar, Tange big forks i think, can't be sure though, steerer is cut to about 185mm.

Also have a set of Rock shock indys for £25 if he's interested, same steerer length.

Thanks for that will get him to contact you :D , he is in south glasgow so quite handy- do you have a picture of the forks (tange big)? How much would you like for them?

Cheers

Like i said i think they are Tange but would'nt like someone to buy them on the strength of that as i can't be sure, his £15 will do for them  , he'll need to fit a star nut as there is none in the steerer.

They could do with a coat of paint or a touch up if he's fussy, but they are straight solid forks.

Cheer's  , still early days with the Clockwork, will post some pics of it once it's a bit further on, intended it to be a budget build but of course it's turned out to be not so budget now

Be nice once it's done though and it's the first proper steel bike i've owned 8)

Have a purple hot rod handlebar which has been chopped very short will measure if you want. I replaced it on the clockwork with an easton bar but you are more than welcome to have it for a few quid if you need it for the build?
