Rigid fork on a Specialized m2?

I have a buyer interested in my M2 who wants to put rigid forks on it. Will the geo work? I don't remember Spesh selling them with a rigid fork.

You just need to use the right length of fork. For an early nineties bike, that would be around 390mm axle-to-crown. A mid-to-late nineties model wants something around 410-415mm.

I think it will depend on the age. When I bought my M2 in 91, it came with a Direct Drive rigid fork. The next M2 up the range came with a Mag 21 (or Specialized's own branded - can't remember). But would have been a 50 or 60mm travel fork. Anyway - rigid should be fine!

I had this 1992 S-Works M2 and built it up as a single speed with Direct Drive rigid forks. Handled perfectly.

that should pair up the rigid backend
will make it as un-rideable as can be like most generalizeds

congrats on selling it by the way ,good move
