rigid carbon forks

fanatic

Retro Newbie
I have some rigid carbon forks. When I bought them they claimed to be the same as the Ritchey WCS carbon forks. 195mm steerer and would suit an older frame designed for 80mm forks. Will take disk brakes but can also be used with cantis. Only issue with the cantis is I have the studs but have lost 1 of the tabs that the spring fits in so at the moment it can only use disk brakes.
Looking for £60 o.n.o

Also have some Avid 5 levers good condition £15
Thomson stem 110mm 0deg £30
and tektro onyx cantis £20 for the 2 sets.

Couple Qs:
- do you have a weight on the forks?
- is the tab that is missing pressed on or threaded?
- is it possible to completely remove the other canti post tab and both canti posts?
- are the decals clearcoated over?
- any idea on cost to post to the US?
Thanks

forks weigh 526 grams with canti bosses, headset cap and carbon bung. Cantis can be removed and the tabs will come off as they are just held on by the canti boss. You will probably need a small cap to cover the holes - or not, makes no difference. Decals are lacquered over so no way to remove.
Posting to the states, Will have to check and get back to you.

Brian

Such a shame that tab's missing  If it turns up down the back of the sofa or anyone knows where to get one (maybe Ritchey if they are the same forks?) I'd be after these!

Also I'm assuming 80mm corrected means 420mm a-c?

Search harder! ;)
