Ridley Crossbow

Almost complete now - need to wrap the bars and get some new pads but it's up and running. Hopefully take for a quick blast this evening.

I've fitted new (used) bars/crank/mech/cassette/brakes and awaiting a bigger cassette, as well as cutting the steerer down and fitting a new star nut.

Rode it to work on Monday and it's feeling like a totally different bike to a couple of months back when I first built it 😁

Dug out a flat bearing cover (eliminates the bearing cover cable guide) so the stem can sit lower now, so I'll cut the steerer down again as well as fitting a fork boss cable stop which I picked up this week.

Things have heated up quite quickly, again.

Scored a set of Hunt aero wide wheels last week and set them up as tubeless (first time, and without a hitch!)

And also scored a set of Avid shorty ultimates which I got set up today by my LBS - these have absolutely transformed the braking. They're razor sharp!
