Rider accused of cheating-"It's my friend's bike"

The officials haven't released any pics but they definitely found electrical wires in the seat post and a motor in the bottom bracket. The rider's explanation doesn't sound very plausible to me but we'll see what the stewards ultimately decide. I'm curious to see how elaborate of a setup it was.

Presumably an adapted Gruber Assist in the seat tube, pushbutton on the brake lever hood or under the bar tape. It will give that little boost just when needed, rather that assist for a whole race:
