Thought I did have a Veloce, but apparently not. It is a Centaur for sale, so I'll update the listing. Of course Centaur is better than Veloce

That's a weird looking Record Headset. Top half is def. Record. Bottom half prob. isn't. There's a rubber ring/greaseport missing.

Was bought from new as a boxed Record headset, so I hope it is complete! Which part do you think is missing? It might be on my basement floor...

I can take better pics, but it definately says "Record" on the bottom half of the headset. You may be able to see the "R" in one of the pics...

My Record headset of same model has a black ring on the lower cup which covers the greaseport hole.

AFAI Knew these headsets came out in 98 and have always had this feature. Now I'm not so sure. I stand corrected.

What is the year sticker on the box? Am now wondering whether they made them without greaseport for a limited time, or if there is another story behind.

The Pista version had no grease ports, did they sometimes ship with those lower cups?
