Starting at car park in Helwith bridge this is a scenic and not overly technical ride up Ribblesdale on the Pen-Y-Ghent side before dropping into the bottom of the valley to head down the other side of the valley to Clapham for a pub lunch , the route then climbs back out of Clapham , over to Austwick with a brief ice cream stop at Fiezor and then back to Helwith bridge . Start point is the car park just South East and on opposite side of road from Helwith Bridge Inn (camper vans allowed in there car park for anyone wanting to stay overnight) BD24 0EH, usual meet time of 10am to ride for 10.30 .
