Hmm, nice frame but a vanilla name. I'm sure it will ride really well, but the world is full of old rim-braked racing bikes.
I wouldn't pay more than £200. Clearly it's not been cleaned up or maintained in a while, and it's been stored somewhere damp. It will need all the bearings opened up and re-greased as doubtless the grease is dried up.

It's got some nice bits but there are plenty more out there like it and it's a buyer's market.

Very nice! Don't see too many Ribbles about. How does it ride?

I've got a 531 & its great 👌 not been out on it for a while so might be time to dust the cobwebs off

Just been cleaning it up, lubing and checking it over today. Not ridden it yet except around the patio but it feels pretty good and fits me well. had to fix a puncture on front tyre and need to index the gears then it should be ready to ride on my normal Sunday morning route. I may need to try to find another cassette for it though I think it has a 12-25 and my 68 year old legs need at least a 28 tooth. :)
