Today I plucked up the courage to bake my heavily bloomed tyres which I bought on ebay 4 years ago in the fan assisted oven. I followed the instructions that have been posted here online and everything worked perfectly.

I lined the oven with grease proof paper and the tyres were heated at 85c for about 15 minutes. I kept the room well ventilated as there were some fumes. The wax melted and was absorbed back into the tyre. They now look like new. Here are the before and after shots.
