Im very reluctant to sell this bike, but i seriously doubt ill ever get around to riding it! It turns out an old mate of mine originally got the frame as a test bike for an Aussie magazine back in about '05-'06. He told me some history on the frame- These frames were hand made from Sanko tubing, only 20 of these frames were made as a team issue only. even the aussie rider back then, "wacka" didnt get one and had to ride the grey/black frames! This was the only one sent to Aus, mainly as a promotional bike i think. It was used for a magazine review by my friend who actually got to keep it for some reason, sold it to another mate of mine who barely rode it and parked it in the shed for quite a few years until i persuaded him to let me buy it! i rebuilt it recently, as ive got a wrecked wrist i just wanted to cruise the footpaths in style, it deserves much more!
Im not really sure what to ask for the bike, i guess im just putting it out there to see if anyone is Keen on it. I figured some English blokes might appreciate it as not many people around here know what it is.
if nobody else thinks its as special as i do, ill just hang it up.
Frame- Revell 450r
Fork- Fox F100 (leaky seals, will replace and service before sale)
Headset- Cane Creek sealed
Stem- 50mm Raceface Diablos
Bars- Deity dirty30's
Post- Deity
Saddle- Deity w Ti rails
Cranks- Profile
Ring- Profile Ti Imperial 30t
Chain- KMC kool lite
Brake- Hope Mono Mini, carbon lever w black 2pc hope rotor
Hub R- Profile SS bolt up
Hub F- Profile BMX race bolt up
Rims- Sun Ryno lite 36 (just laced up a few weeks ago with black DT spokes, only ridden around the block)
just got footpath weapon tyres.
