Joking aside, can I suggest that everyone with web access just does a quick check in the morning before setting off (Daj and I are happy to exchange moby numbers via PM). The plan is to do the ride as is but, should the forecast worsen then we will review that decision first thing in the morning (before I set off at about 9ish).

Funny thing is that I did a route recce a couple of weeks ago and it blinking lashed it down then! The route is on good condition roads with just the one descent that I am concerned about but you will get plenty of warning about that one.

A lightning strike close enough for most of us to shit ourselves and riding up hills that had rivers running down with debris ....hell a goat went past me!! :shock:
