Shot blasting might have deleted the whole thing.I'm just glad I spotted it before dropping off to be powder coated.
I've got a 1994 Bear Valley, still ridden regularly, rust coming through the paint but not structural. Everything is original, only thing that needs repair is one of the shifters. Would this make a good project for anyone? That’s a real shame
I still have the whole bike, although someone offered me £50 for it the other day. Where are you in the world? If you still have the forks I would interested in them as I know longer have the original forks from my 1994 Bear Valley SE
Also, it's not an SE, so the forks aren't shocksI still have the whole bike, although someone offered me £50 for it the other day. Where are you in the world?
My Bear Valley SE didn't have shocks when I bought it in 1994. A bike shop put shocks on for me several years later and I stupidly didn't keep the original forks. So when I had it converted back - a bike shop put a nasty looking fork on.I still have the whole bike, although someone offered me £50 for it the other day. Where are you in the world?
Ok, sounds like it might work out then. I'm in Hamble, so probably not far from you! You could come and have a look, or tell me how you want me to measure the frame as I've always been confused by frame v wheel sizes! My Bear Valley SE didn't have shocks when I bought it in 1994. I live near Southampton but drive up to Scotland fairly frequently.
What size is the frame / fork? I think my bike is an SE.
