A stripped-down mobile version of the site would be another option, and would work on more phones. I've given up using the Facebook app (yeah, I know...) because Facebook's mobile site works at least as well, and better in some ways.

Yeah, tapatalk is agreat idea! I use it a lot
If it´s a normal site, the small screen won´t really do and retrobike doesn´t work really well, at least on safari.

The Facebook app (for the iPhone at least) is truly awful. By far the most buggy app I've used.

If Retrobike were to produce an app, taking a good look at the Facebook app would be a worthwhile lesson in how NOT to do it!

Let the poor man upgrade the forum first to the latest and greatest phpbb3 (unless we are) for the sensible users on big screens. then tapatalk can be made to work with it.

Pretty sure singletrackworld or mtbr have an app. As previously mentioned, it optimises the site for mobile devices. So there is one reason to do it.

Second reason, if its good enough for the competition... :twisted:

I would pay 69p for an RB app too
