Really? Thought there was more to be honest. Mind you, the MacRetro ride may have been too far for most.

The Laneside campsite in Hope is usually the favourite choice: --> http://www.lanesidecaravanpark.co.uk
It's about a minutes ride from the start and finish point too.

I can't do the Saturday evening but may stay over on the Friday night instead.
The first climb is all the better with a stinking hangover...

Indeed there is... plus the recce, so a double helping of fun. However, I've been to all the Peaks rides since I found Retrobike and so missing out on this year's ride is a real disappointment.
