Both Coniston YHA are not open on 25th but Ambleside is and its huge by hostel standards.

I plan or at least would like to be there though travel plans are of course weather, health and a myriad other things dependent so cannot commit as of yet :roll:

Sounds good, although Hawkshead is cheaper (£14.40) and closer (5miles, LA22 0QD)...

Quick question on the rules..

Does
- Pikeing (a technical term for not turning up when you said you would)

mean anyone who responds to this thread?
even with 'hope to' or 'aim to' sort of thing

Think you have to say you definitely are going to be there right up to the point your not. Otherwise 90% of Retrobike would be guilty all the time

It's good practice to at least type a little post saying yay or nay.

Nothing worse than sitting waiting for someone who isn't turning up.
