Retrobike National MTB Rd 4: The Quantocks ~ AFTERMATH pg.3

Re:

Really sad to have missed out on this due to having to go to a wedding instead.

Looks like some great terrain and scenery down there, although I would happily miss the tick bites.

Well done to those lucky few who could make it. One for the calendar again next year...?

I'm blaming it on this unwanted passenger...
Oh dear!

That photo has made me all itchy now, and I'm going to have to check myself all over for uninvited guests.... twice.

I hope you got the nasty little sucker off OK.

Yuk! That's grim! Did you get all of it out OK? Might be an idea to give your GP a call Monday and see if they advise a test for Lyme's

Chris.

This was my first and hopefully last tick and it didn't want to let go! I'll call the GP tomorrow.

Thanks to all for the ride and some nice photos too!

I just managed to get the tent up before it rained again and went out for an all day ride round Exmoor on the Sunday. The Muddy Fox coped surprisingly well with all of it!

Hope to see you all at another ride soon.

I'm up for it. Hopefully those who had a good time this year can spread the word.
The Quantocks have some of the best riding in the SW in my opinion, just so much variety in a relatively small area.
