Firstly :

• If I am speaking out of term.
• If I am creating work for someone that doesn’t want it.
• If I am sticking my nose in where it’s not wanted.

I will apologise now and feel free to delete / lock my post etc

------------------------------------------

Now that bits out of the way may I suggest a couple of bits of Retrobike merchandise that I for one, would be very interested in purchasing, if they were made available and even at a elevated cost to cover someone’s time etc for sorting it out, packing / posting etc

Personally, I don’t particularly like advertising etc on stuff I own (cars, bikes etc) so don’t really do stickers decals etc unless they came supplied with such direct from the manufacturer (I even put fresh number plates on cars etc to get rid of all reference to the dealer that sold it ). However, for some weird and wonderful reason I don’t mind a bit of advertising on clothing etc, bits I probably associate with being easily removable. So how about :

Retrobike Water Bottles

Simple design to blend in with the clothing that’s already on offer and be universal to suit pretty much all of the weird and wonderful colour schemes we seem to like – Clear bottle, quality large black cap, black (maybe black / white) Retrobike logo (lengthwise, maybe three positions around the bottle or just in two places so it is the right way up when viewed from either side of the bike 8)) and the Retrobike URL running around the circumference at the top and bottom.

Neoprene Chainstay Protectors

Black (aren’t I practical ) with white Retrobike URL. Maybe offer in a few sizes to suit the thinnest of steel stays up to the fattest of aly box sections ?

What do you think ? Would it be easy enough to organize with the right (existing ?) contacts and enough interest / volume ?

WD :D

Couple of nice ideas which have been looked into breifly in the past. If anyone is keen, has comments or can recommend a reliable supplier that'd be grand.

Lots of retrobike badging :?

Why dont we just buy modern bikes and then we can all look the same

:?: Check the little logo at the top left. Seems likely to me any retrobike merchandise will feature the rb logo. At the end of the day just don't buy it (or comment on it) if it's not to your taste. What have modern bikes got to do with this :? back at 'cha.

Another vote for water bottles! It's hard finding nice bottles these days and my back doesn't agree with Camelbacks anymore..

Cool idea for water bottles & i may even be able to get the name of a supplier/printer

Should be able to find out this weekend :D

I've some old, faded black y-fronts, add a Tippex'd Retrobike logo and you're in ......

One of the original branders is
http://www.cafepress.co.uk/
they do sig bottles and even pants for daj ;)

Person buys through the site, they make and RetroBike gets a cut of the money.

Used them with another board I admined at (well still do) , they where goo way back when, not used them for a long time.

did a search and
http://www.sportbottle.co.uk/ though think minimum order is 100 and a setup fee, I think for initial 100 it about £2.50 to have them made.
