RetroBike gone quiet..

Even if I have to take a crash course in website hosting - Retrobike will be here as long as I am around even if it is just me left, in my shed, dribbling a bit trying to fix a 200GS rear mech.

The True Spirit of Retrobike right there.

Ah, 200GS, what memories! You can learn a lot from a 200GS rear mech. Not least that it may be old, it may be cheap, it may be heavy..but..er..where was I? Oh yes. 200GS is just like me.

Incoming Mother in law. I'll be in the shed if you want me.

Advice please?

What shall I build her?

Re:

After a spell of no attendance myself, since coming back I noticed it a bit quiet. Is farcebook a culprit?

Re:

I treasure this forum. Lot of variety of bikes and people, also never had the impression of not being welcome although I'm not a native English speaker. Guessing the 26 inch hype is somehow over but the love for classic steel will last.

Well im still here, and busy :D
and got the largest Hope collection still to sort/renovate/fettle/fiddle.
F&R set of new C2's to fiddle and fettle. Fronts a No1 so ill still be needing a pace fork to fit it to.
Need to make some axles and or adapt spacers to fit some Hope tandem hubs.
2 bikes to build, one of which will be dressed in the new Hopes.

Eventually and probably talking 3 or 4 years here  to get that B5 for my Amp f4 blt's built as a Police Special

Do you enjoy building, fetling fixing ?? and of course talking shop, and on that note where else can you/ I bet the mates doon the pub bang their heads off the table and go "OH FFS NOT BIKES AGAIN

You will never get that here  Youre always welcome to talk till youre blue in the face. Worry not, theres kindred spirits to support you.
