I love it, and it's not often I can actually vote for a bike that fits me as well.

Simply for the "one extreme to the other" dimension, my very recently bought and serviced 1989 Diamond Back Ascent. At 31 quid one-eightieth of the cost of the most expensive mtb I've owned, but for where/how I ride these days much better VFM! And the £2700 one was NOT >80x as fast...
