Thats what you get for trusting someone elses assistance and advice, and not actualy bothering to check yourself lol

Oh well, its still a Merlin ti soft tail, I will compare it to the next one i ride past lol!!!

The steerer spacers are not a "crime", it is but a mere "place holder". Once the Spring/Summers here the bike will be out getting ridden, then I can work out where I want the controls. There realy is no point in riding it through the cacky British winter when I have other bikes to abuse.

The Merlin is really nice, I love the story behind the Lava Dome, but sorry the Salsa takes it.

The Lava Dome is a beauty and the Boulder is pure retro (Marzocchi Stars!) but for me this has to be between the Salsa and the Merlin...

Salsa for me. I remember seeing JMC on his at the Malverns with a Tioga disc wheel it looked very special and I've always wanted on the same since.
