Retro Newbie
Hi everybody - having a garage clear-out & looking for a loving home for my >20 years old non disc wheels. Spec. as follows:
Front: Shimano Deore XT HB-M730 polished silver hub with grease-ports (100mm), Mavic M231 Profil PSP silver 32 hole non disc rim - single eyelet and double wall, laced 2 cross with silver stainless DT double-butted spokes, original Shimano silver skewers
Rear: Shimano Deore XT FH-M732 polished silver 7sp cassette with grease-port (135mm), Mavic M231 Profil PSP silver 32 hole non disc rim - single eyelet and double wall, laced 3 cross with silver stainless DT double-butted spokes, original Shimano silver skewers
Both wheels are in fantastic condition, run true - well within British Standards laterally and radially. The hubs have not been used since 1997 and the bearings are still buttery smooth! Wheels will be sold including rim tape and Mavic presta adaptors (for the Schraeder holes).
Looking for sensible offers for this lovely pair of wheels - anybody interested? I can provide photos on request as they were too large to upload!?
