Retro Road accessories ideas (Panniers, Frame and Other)

Hey guys,
First time Forum user so go easy on me.

I've just taken delivery of a 2013 Raleigh Clubman, i understand its not technically a retro bike with it being new,
but i really love it and i'm looking to get a few accessories for it.

It's currently fitted with the Brooks Swift chrome leather seat, Brown leather bar tape and front wheel
arch extension, and wooden bar ends.

I'm considering fitted a pannier frame and panniers, maybe a bottle holder and other parts, but can't really find
anything that i think fits with the retro look, any one have any suggestions?

I've linked a picture of a bike thats basically the same to give some idea what it is i'm working with,
any suggestions would be awesome, thanks in advance!

You will see that i know nothing about it as i was asking for a friend but there may be some options that will give you ideas.

p.s. I like your 'new Retro' - very classy

If possible, ditch the bar mounted gear shifts and put tube mounted shifters on along with alloy brake levers.

The only other thing that screams is the front chainset, but I'm not sure what would fit and look better.

Nice looking bike though. Worth the effort.

Have a look for items from bakedbeanman on ebay - they are Carradice seconds from the factory - some nice ideas in his last lot - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=& ... te=1&rt=nc

My son has bought from him & has been very pleased - only minor imperfections. Get a cape!
