Retro plans for 2013.

1 : find a good body shop that's willing to get the dents out of my Sbike frames
2 : find a good framebuilder who can convert one of the frames to disc and build a fork to suit.
3 : Get both bikes painted, stickered and built. One with original parts, one with modern XT and a nice set of Formula or KCNC brakes.

Build, build, build......ride,ride,ride :D

But in answer to the question, buy what I need a not everything that comes up

Loads to do the house we moved to at the end of August, including sorting the garage so bikes and car can live in it, ride more and get fitter as hit the big 40 this year, and also hoping to do the Caledonia challenge again with work, and maybe start biking to work again.

Get fit, my lack of fitness spoils the little rides I did do.
Ride more, in general, with RetroBike, and lead more Skyrides.
Buy less bikes and bits. Sell more bikes.
Ride the bikes more that tinkering with them, I like the bikes I have and while nowt special they are pretty pointless if not ridden.
Learn web and app dev so I can release at least one of my million pound ideas. Some bike related!
Ride a 100 miler.

Just keep riding!!!

2376 miles, 248 hours in the saddle, 186,122 calories burnt, and i'm a stone heavier than last year!!!

Maybe less beer and kebabs haha

I just need to finish my Uk steel build (needs pedals & new flat bars), get the miles in on any bike (mountain or road) & finally hope the weather is better for Mountain Mayhem so I can perhaps attend this year.

Bring it on!

Maybe give up this nonsense for a cheaper hobby

Maybe run a small fleet of aircraft , or buy some race horses

Get my Karma Kona finished as i have no ride at the moment

Ride more

Hi all! Was a long time lurker, but I've finally registered into the Temple of Doo...err RETROBIKE! Got the bug a year ago, buying a knackered, but solid '92 Rocky Ridge frame, and slowly developed a serious retro illness

So, my plans for the next year are:

1.Sorting out the 12something recently bought bikes, deciding whether to keep or just cannibalise for parts

2. Get more tools for the mancave, which won't disintegrate from getting an angry look from me

3. Solving the matter of preserving/storing bikes as they are now and as I want them to stay forever :D

Think just these issues will keep me busy enough, let alone work/kid/wifey!

I'd like to wish every retrobiker outthere a HAPPY NEW YEAR! KEEP YOUR TIRES FAT & RETRO!
