looks modern to me, vents look too large to be retro. only retro'ish thing about it is the colour scheme, which i'm not too fond of. :p

wish i still had my spesh sub 6 pro. :(
 
Retro not

I think the only way that could be retro is if you wore it to a 70's roller disco at the local gay bar :roll:

No. "Retro" means, by definition, something new but deriving its overall look and style from times past.

Therefore - all Retro is new (or at least later than the period from when it draws its influences), or else it's just old. For example, a 1988 Kona Explosif is not a retro bike, just an old bike.

Although around these parts it sometimes seems that the definition has been re-written...

So, back to the helmet. New (obviously) but the graphics are clearly influenced by the early nineties (IMHO).
So it meets the criteria for being considered "retro" then. I think I'll buy one ....
