A good few years ago a mates dad brought an old banger for spares and promised me the number plate off it, A50 JCL (my initials). 

He scrapped the car and forgot to keep the documents so I could take the plate off it......I was gutted 

I still haven't got over it  :cry:

I know what you mean, i had a mini 1100 special years ago, with the plates AAA 52V i was asked after i sold it if i would take £500 for it :roll:
