Retro hed xc wheels with a slight buckle

Good evening lads. Got a set of retro hed xc wheels that need straightening. How on earth do I do it
Any help would be appreciated

Re:

If its the deep fill carbon ones you may need to unlace them and set some weight on them on a flat surface to start to straighten it out then rebuild and re-tension

Ive done it with Mavics plenty of times (not HED's but the concept is the same)

Re:

I'm intrigued to know now how to true these wheels too.

If they are similar to the example of Hed XC wheels seen below, I would doubt that using a conventional Spoke Key would be possible.

I am wondering what the screw thread end on these spokes look like, and presumably can be accessed somehow from the inside of the rim?

IIRC they use a non-standard nipple driver (hex?) that you need to take tyre/tube/rim tape off to access.

(I had one pair through my hands ~20 years ago.......)

Cheers Matt, perhaps Darren could take a picture of the inside of the rim, which may help us with give some advice regarding truing these up.
