Retro Front Suspension

Hello,

Man, I'm glad I found you guys! I'm starting to ride my 1991 Trek 8000 again and took a real hammering last weekend.

So, I'm looking for a matching retro front suspension for it. Bike has a 1 inch threaded steerer, approx 135mm from bottom of headset to top of thread, and uses V brakes.

...I've read the debates about going suspended on these bikes, but still would like to give it a try. I think it is a shame to ditch this bike, just looking for some added comfort.

I've got a set of Pace RC35K's with a 1" threaded steerer that should do the job, pm me if you want more details.

They are nice forks, or you could try to find some Rock Shox RS1's or whatever Trek fitted to their bikes in 1991. So long as you keep it very short travel you should be fine. Henley eh, there are a few of us that aren't too far away from there. Time to sort out another ride me thinks!
