Retro clothing especially longs

That first photo is interesting. Fausto Coppi is wearing a Bianchi top and a Bianchi bike (I think?) whereas other riders are wearing Coppi tops with what appear to be Coppi bikes (silver?). I thought the Coppi team started after he left Bianchi. Jacques Anquetil in a flat cap obviously enjoying a joke - but who is that on the left laughing with him?

Re:

I think the one in the hat with the fleece ear coverings turned up is André Darrigade? The picture was from Pinterest, but I seem to remember it's Paris- Nice 1958? So it would of been the season Coppi went back to Bianchi.

Both Coppi and Anquetil were quite shy so I guess there must of been a real bond, because they always look relaxed together.

Thought I'd bump this thread, although I'm looking for something more like this than Tudor. In fact I'd be interested in both tights and tracksuit.

I'm not a fan of the tudor sports, having had the 'double seat' go on a 55 mile ride, thr first time I wore them

The tights are pretty hard to find, tracksuit easier

Tiralento do both, but the tights are not zip ankle which is something I really want and it seems like the track pants are only available as part of a set and only in blue.

These are impressive

But I'm not sure if they'd stand up to a lot miles?[/quote]

Try here - though you'll need to brush up on your Italian!

I have stuff from 3M Jerseys, Cap (with a very good soft peak, that holds it's shape), shorts (very good apart from the seam in the middle of the chamois, although that's softened with chamois cream). I also got some gloves, but they were made by an outside company and split very easily. 3M gear is great for the money, although their website is a pain to operate they're very helpful via email.

Also adding these to the thread,

Although they come with a fitted pad and aren't cheap.

Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced Wool/ acrylic shorts without a leather pad?
