Restoring the finish of a saddle with black paint

I have a slightly scuffed Flite myself, that I've been wondering how to restore, so just ordered a little tub of that leather restorer recommended by enc :D

It's not unknown for people to use leather paint when reconditioning leather sofas and leather car interiors. The benefit of leather paints over something like enamel paint is that the leather paint has a flexibility built in, reducing the need for continual application due to cracking that using some normal paints often have.
Great tip about the flexibility of the leather paint. I might try that myself.

You won't be disappointed. The key to a decent finish is to take you time with it and build it up in layers. I used it on car seat side bolsters. I'll try and find some before and after pics.
