Restoring Leather Saddles - What's Your Preferred Method?

I've got a few different brooks saddles and have 'resurected' a few too, and I figure that if brooks make a product for maintaining the saddles that they make, it must be right for them.......so all I use is proofhide.
It's dearer than dubbin/ neatsfoot oil and most other home remedies, but a pot lasts a long time....with that one, apply every day for a week sparingly, whilst having a cuppa, and it will look lovely.....work it in round the edge of the rivets, as that is where the most stress is and where the cracks/splits start.
That one will be fine!

As Stedlocks says above, I have done exactly the same on my ancient B15 with proof ride, a warm airing cupboard for storage and repeat every day, it soaks in after a few days and you just keep on applying, really brings it back a treat!!!
