Did you go for that method you linked previously then, if so how much was it?

they do look super good!

No, was working out a bit pricey and was wanting to try steve1's method. Still might pop into a arts supply store.

Hmmm, have already congratulated you on those - very sweet. Mine are different though, only have 2 sets of holes to accept chainring bolts. Have I bought roadie ones by accident?

So you did, should have a quick squizz at a thread before I link to it  Post a pic of the spider or the ebay link.

Had another look at the ebay listing, are the inner bolts tapped? Its possible its a BMX spider which was also 110BCD.

lol, what a kn*b, I should have never started this, gonna be a disaster.

Still, they look quite sturdy and I hate the granny ring anyway! Will do a pic later, but in the meantime, any problems with chainrings or other differences I should know about using road cranks?

(Bugger bugger bugger, won't be the last time I mess up!)

Sorry if im being thick here, you mentioned using Steve1's method (the caustic soda dabbing) but how did you get the logos in black? did you start off with black anodised cranks then remove all the colour but the lettering?

Sorry Jerky thats a decal and a slightly peeling one at that, I'll see how steves method works and when I'm trying to get decals for the build will try out the reverse sticker method.

Okay, outer holes look like a 110BCD, inners a 74BCD.

Any thoughts? Any reasons I should not run these on a 2-chainring MTB?

Inner bolts are tapped, but just going online/doing a search to find out what the different BCDs are all about

Possibly an earlier version then? No expert but I don't think they are road ones. The road BCD is 130(generally). What you will need though is shims/spacers for the granny ring if you fit one.
