Restoring a polished titanium frame

You know when you have a polished Ti frame and its marked up and someone decides to go hell for leather with a scouring pad to remove scratches and leaves it looking washed out and dull going too deep?

Is there a way to restore it back to its former glory?

You will have to try pretty hard to go too deep with any sort of normal abrasive on a ti frame... Its just working the oxidized layer, that looks like someone has gone along the tube so should be easy to rescue.

Use a strip of red scotchbrite, wrap it round the tube and polish... don't go along the tube.
Then a drip of cheap chain oil on a microfiber, run that along the tube and you will get the nice brushed finish and it won't attract the fingerprints as quickly
Just be careful around stickers or laser etched bits.
