Totally fantastic thread, Dan your work is awesome and Papillon it would be great to see this continued through to full build

Yes it is my intention to continue the build but as it will have 700c one brake flip flop hub it might not be to everybody's likening but hey it's my frame and I feel less guilt as it could have ended up in the skip if Dan had not offered to do his magic

Holy crap!! seeing those photos was like watching live root canal, almost couldn't watch but had to as I'm now the owner of 2 RC200's.... :s
(p.s. anyone let me in on the link for working out exactly which models I've got adn if it's possible to tell by serial number?)

Duncan never welded any up as late as the F4 frames, I would say this was originally one of Dean's Friday afternoon specials ;-)

Amazing repair job, so nice to see it given another lease of life

OK next instalment...just a little bit:

Papillon is looking to use a v-brake with 700c wheel, so re-fit the cable stop which I removed to gain access to the seat joint:

Remove the canti bosses from the 253.5mm 559/26" position:

Rig them up in my Anvil fixture at 283mm for 700c/622mm wheels:

Problem with the boss spacing as the stays taper in to the wishbone. Needs to be around 80mm for MTB, 75mm for narrower road rims. Here it's down to 65mm:

Run a disc brake or fixed?
