Replacing Pedal Spindle... Help!

Hey, so like the idiot I am, I bought a pair of Triple Traps (Odyssey) without paying too much attention...

And, shocker, a BMX pedal came with a BMX-sized threaded spindle!

People ran these on MTB's back in the day, I know. So did everyone switch out spindles, or was a MTB version available?

Anyone know if the spindles on these can be replaced (I've seen people do that on here with other pedals) and with what, and how?

Or should I just sack it off and buy another pair?

Or another pedal entirely.

You can get MTB - specific Triple Traps. Can’t imagine you’re ever going to find a set of suitable axles on their own. So, yes, sack them off and get another pair.

You can buy adaptors, but they push the pedal further out

Or buy the 9/16" version and switch them over
