REMOVAL
1.Seal off fridge area
2.Pull off the end spacer
3.Cup hands around freehub and use thumbs and forefingers to slide the body off
If they do spring out and thay dont always, they are safe in you hands
4.Put springs and pawls in a bag or jar to keep them safe
Unless you intend to replace then too,and if youre going to the trouble of replacing the freehub then the pawls etc should also be changed for the sake of maintenance.

RE-FITTING
1.Check fridge seal
2.Place an elastic band a couple of times around the freehub,it neednt be to tight, just enough so it doesnt move or slide off
3.Put the tiniest smidgen of grease where the pawl sits an no where else[the less the better in this job]
4.Place each spring in the pawl and insert into its slot
Hold it in place and slide the elastic band down to hold it in
5.Repeat step 4 till all the pawls and springs are in the freehub and tucked behind the elastic band.
6.Slide the it onto the axle until the pawls are nearly fully inside the hub.
7.Start to slide the band upwards and away from each pawl
[the pawls are mostly inside the hub so theres no chance of them springing out as you remove the band]
Then turn it slowly anti-clockwise till you hear the pawls click in place
8.Replace the end spacer.
