Replacement rear axle - possible?

So i need to replace my rear axle.
9mm x 145mm, hollow, non threaded - for cartridge bearing hub.
From a CODA/Sachs 800 hub.

My thoughts:

Can i use the 145mm threaded axle (C&C hub) from a lower grade hub (CODA 500) that i have?
(Will the cartridge bearings sit in place properly on the threads?).

Can i JB WELD (or similar) the threads (and then sand/machine down to make a 'non threaded' axle)?

Can i buy such a thing and save myself a load of hassle?

Initial enquiries indicate new might be hard to come by.

Alternatively, trawl ebay for a donor hub (or at a push the complete wheel).

Any help greatly appreciated - this is what i am trying to replace.

have you tried getting in touch with a small engineering shop and have them knock you one up on a lathe.

Re:

Many thanks for the replies.

kingbling - yes, that was my idea with the JB Weld - fill the threads and then have it machined down to size.
Didn't really consider having one made from scratch, but many thanks for the suggestion.
If the axle spotted by mk one doesn't work out i will speak to my go-to machining shop.

mk one - that is awesome! :D
might be a bit of a punt, but ive taken it anyway.
Very many thanks for the spot - really appreciate it.
