Repairing Spin wheels

As we all know, there are probably a lot of spin wheels that have split rims and rims that have separated and also have hub issues.

Has anyone ever managed to repair a Spin wheel? if so, to what degree.

analyse carefully any replies - repairing it may be the simple part but knowing that it is safe to ride on may be harder to achieve.

Very true but I guess thats also true of any component

I've seen people buy rimless spins and shot ones, just wondering whether they are for wall art or whether there is somone out there that can attach a rim on or rig another rim on (even it its just for a display bike) or something. Not only am I curious, I was about to go and have a look at a pair and then assess whether its worth getting them.
