Remembrance Day Ride, Binbrook 13/11/11

As usual the Remembrance Day Ride will be held at Binbrook, near to the disused RAF Binbrook WWII Airfield (where The Memphis Belle was filmed)

A rather apt location for this ride which will be at least 10 miles in length with the possibility of extending the route, will see how we're doing on the day!

A mix of doubletrack, singletrack and some link sections of road around the undulating Wolds of North Lincolnshire, the ride finishes with around a mile of fast doubletrack, descending back into the village of Binbrook. No major climbs, nothing technical (well a couple of greasy wooden bridges and one short greasy rooty climb which I walked up last time!)

Meet at 9.45 for a 10am start from the centre of the market place as in the map link above

Bike wash available, the more folks bring water the more bikes we can clean, a couple of litres each should be enough

Oh I forgot to add in my reply.

I have a nice 25l water drum which I can fill and bring along, so washing will be fine.

only need a few litres per bike, bike wash carries 15 litres and can wash up to 3 bikes if not too muddy!

Might give the new bike its first ride so prepare yourselves for a mechanical or two, might be a mud clearance issue too

Is this going to be the roue we did in April? There wasn't much a mud issue then.
