i must confess, twas me that bought the stan pike. The frame is fantastic however the build was pretty sketchy on closer inspection. Broken rear huret derailleur, cut down seat post, dodgy chain. May keep it and build with shimano. Only need a post and rd.

Ha! It was a brilliant purchase man, and the seller did say he just threw it together to be fair.

The frame and wheels were lovely though, the cassette was sparkling..

I saw the rear mech problem but the others must have surfaced once you'd got it home. Are you looking for a complete mech or just the inside plate of the jockey cage? What size seat pin is it?

I was disappointed to have missed this too but I had to drive all the way to Thurso and back last weekend to help someone move house so had to give it a miss.

Ned, were you under orders to only sell not buy? I'm not sure where you'd keep another bike if you managed to sneak one in anyway!
