Very nice job indeed. Can I ask how you got a paint match? Was it just trial and error or is there an easier way?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. For paint matching i walked into a large Halfrauds (big rattle can selection) with the frame under my arm and found the closest of about 5 turquoise type colours. Aware that the coloured sticker on the can is just a guide and not 100% accurate i then took the frame to a car restoration body shop and tried all their colour charts but nothing was any better than the Rover Kingfisher i'd found at Halfrauds, so i got a small quantity mixed up and used it as a touch-up, applied by brush. Same process with the bronze fork. I would not claim that these colours are a perfect match but they are the closest i could find and certainly close enough to make a tatty frame look much nicer than it did before. Interesting to note both the CinderCone and the Rover colour are from 1995 so i guess turquoise was a popular colour in those days.

The bike is finished and rides great, nice and tight and pretty much silent drive train while riding. Here are a few finished pics with road tyres and saddle:

Then today it got some fresh XC tyres and saddle, so all finished and ready for action :p
