At least HS2 was an actual rail line rather than a monorail/hyperloop/vacuum-based-pods totally impractical techbro Not that I'm saying HS2 was necessarily a good idea, I'm not getting into that debate

Anyway, I thought it was good video - no hyperbole, just a good description of why it's quite so awful. It's certainly a prime example of the 'what looks cool' method of product development. A 'mug's eyeful' as Alan Sugar would say.
