Retro road bike from 1991. Lovely frame with chromo forks, seat stays and chain stays for smoothing out rough roads, and aluminium main frame for stiffness. Shimano Biopace triple crankset: 50/44/28. The oval rings are great for bad knees like mine, and the granny gear is a godsend on hills!
Friction front shifter and indexed rear- shifts beautifully. 700x23c Specialized Armadillo tyres. Frame size is 60cm seat tube, 54cm top tube. I'm 5'10" and find it comfortable, but it's probably better suited to someone a tad taller. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone shorter though.
In good condition for it's age. Wheels are true, it shifts great, brakes work fine. It could probably benefit from a service and new tyres, but they hold air well and I have been using it happily for the last couple of years with no issues. One of the bottle cage rivnuts has come loose on the downtube. A quick fix if you have the right tool or knowhow. Dual sided pedals are included. Bottle cage isn't as I need that on my other bike. I also have some clip-on mudguards and a spare Fabric Scoop saddle if my asking price is agreeable.
I'm only selling it as I have recently bought a bikepacking bike and don't have much room in my flat!
