Oh. I see. Yes, in the same way that xt don't either! You can force them past the last hole on the selector plate, but it a bad idea imho on both suntour and shimano.
However, there is a 7/8 speed switchable xc pro version. Same, but with an extra dimple on the selector plate....it gets blanked when you select 7 speed. I would get a set of these if you want 8 speed.
