Recon remote lockout - need help!

Hi guys, I’ve attached a photo of the internals, the lockout isn’t working + I’m not getting the spring-loaded function on the top (‘B’) - common sense says there’s something missing, although there’s 2x springs, neither look to offer the ‘spring back’! I’ve clearly no idea about forks and YouTube isn’t throwing up the right results! Any help appreciated, thanks

I'm not familiar with recons, but for reba and sid dampers, the lockout works by preventing oil flow through the damping cartridge. If you've less than the desired level of fluid, lockout will either not work at all or there will be some travel before it locks the fork.

Thanks bud, yes you’re probably spot on with the main issue the spring loaded function is now the only thing left to figure out, no idea what’s going on here!
