Recommissioning the Rockhopper ...

Around this time last year i underwent various test to diagnose a gammy right knee. MRI scans diagnosed "potential" osteoarthritis. I'd been in pain since late March with no (obvious) previous trauma or injury to the knee. Eventually I was given a cortisone injection which was almost instant in relieving the pain... that was almost 12 months ago and apart from the occasional tweak, I'm still more or less pain free . To be truthful, it wasn't the pain that had caused my (total) absence from the saddle.. other circumstances had dictated that ... but it certainly hadn't helped
Anyways, yesterday was my first ride in 2 years .. and whats better than a ride out on a retro bike ? a 5 mile round trip taking in the the local country park...loving it !

Excuse the shaky footage, it's not easy trying to frame on a mobile while steering with one hand.

Re:

I salvaged a low mileage (but neglected) slightly earlier green one of these & built it for a pal. It rode superbly
