Recommend me a cycle carrier.

I am currently trying to find ways of getting 3 bikes, pushchair and my 2 dogs in or on my vectra. We go away for 3 nights in October and I wouldn't mind taking mine and little lads bike. Am currently watching some roof bars on eBay and if they don't go sky high will probably buy them. I will be able to put suitcase and pushchair on roof bars then but not sure about strapping bikes to it as well? So I thought just to buy a cheap cycle rack because it will always come in handy even if it's just to take little ones bike when we go for walks etc.

Any help much apreciated.

do you have a tow bar? if so a cheap bar mounted rack is great, i recently upgraded to a thule 3 bike carrier, its ace!!!!!

+3 I've used a saris 3 before and always found them fit for purpose.
