Recommend a Cannondale headshok service resource

Ive recently bought the below.

I'm going to service the headshok

Im guessing a few people have done this job over the years...can you recommend a resource or video to follow?

Everything I have read about doing this says it would test the patience of a saint and many pro bike machanics - four internal linear roller bearing races to manage. The Cannondale website used to have a list of approved Headshock service centers.
 
I don’t think mine had ever been serviced as it was completely seized. Once I got the damper out I had to hit the outer sleeve off with a mallet! IMG_4230.webp IMG_4231.webp

I had one rebuilt by these guys about six years ago, they're in Germany. It was not cheap but they did a good job. At the time I just thought it was the easiest option, retirement means that it wouldn't be an available option anymore!

I’ve done a Fatty SL and a lefty carbon before.

I won’t be doing any again ……

There’s a reason nobody wants to touch them. My advice is to buy a working fork. Much easier and cheaper since it’s a lower end model
