Hi mickyc, did you get anywhere with these? I know it's a bit back but I thought it worth asking cos I have the same issue...

That sounds like you could have a small amount of moisture in the lower legs, mix it with grease and voila, a good clean fresh grease, suspension specific, and check the TPC while your there, that may need an oil change

Yeh, bit of struggle getting into the sliders i.e. getting the very thin plastic hex undone so am leaving alone for now... large amounts of RC-7 grease applied and I think I'll wind the rebound damping right off when I can find an allen key that fits - no sign of the bottom adjuster with any vintage manitou forks in the world!
