Reba fork transplant advice

I took a punt on some rebas on ebay with dodgy stanchions as I have a spare set in the garage. I'm not exactly sure until the forks arrive if the csu is the same as my spare one, but either way, can I just swap the internals over?

I'm keen to avoid destroying the new stanchions so any advice on what to do/check within the lowers? I'm assuming dirt has got in and caused it, so a good clean of the bushings and some Judy butter is all I'd need to do, but thought I'd check.

So long as the CSU's are the same you should be able to swap the internals over as you say, if the stanchions are worn then you will definitely need new seals & oil rings & a good check of the bushes too. Rebas are oil lubed, so just a smear of fork grease on the seal is all I use.
